back to my story...
My passion for western skies and red-rock landscapes grew out of a wayward RV trip some years ago that found me criss-crossing the famed Colorado Plateau from the Grand Canyon to Moab to Zion.
Today I spend as much time as possible on the road in my rugged teardrop trailer roaming the vast western wilderness across the serene desert southwest, the lush pacific coast and soaring rocky mountain ranges.
My interest and skill in Astrophotography grew out of countless nights camping under the stars.
My intention is to capture and convey the complexity of these beautiful but demanding environments and contribute my perspective to the ancient and ongoing conversation surrounding the western landscape, its earthly inhabitants and our collective celestial inspiration.
I am now attempting to turn this inchoate creative spirt into a semi-professional vocation that inspires others and helps support conservation and community causes that I care deeply about in the desert southwest.
My companion and co-pilot on my travels is my equally adventurous dog Roy. He is a black lab mix, adopted from Best Friends Animal Rescue in Kanab, UT.
